Polishing, fabricating and assembling stone in a high generation wet shop. The right candidate will take initiative and want to become an expert craftsman in this trade. The candidate will maintain co’s standard of quality and efficiency into every aspect of the workday. Quality, accuracy and extreme attention to detail are key to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Polishing, fabrication, rodding and repairing stone pieces

• Assist Fabrication Foreman in assembly of fabrication projects

• Fill in on Thibaut when needed

• Maintain fabrication/polishing equipment in good working order

• Maintain stock of Integra adhesives

Academic | Trade qualifications, Work Experience & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience working with stone preferred or a strong desire to learn

• 2 years’ experience working in carpentry, building and/or polishing

• Experience in a production-based manufacturing environment preferred

• Ability to use tape measure and hand tools, including angle grinder, saws and chop saw

• Comfortable reading and interpreting architectural/shop drawings in English

• Ability to lift, push and or pull 75 pounds repetitively and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position without posing a threat to the health and safety of the individual or others

• Ability to work efficiently independently while also having the desire to work as part of a team with a results-driven approach

• High level of workmanship, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, take pride in work and monitors own work to ensure quality and solicits and applies feedback to improve performance

• Meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner

• The individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events

• Dependable and excellent attendance - the individual is consistently at work and on time

We would like this position to have a clean driving record in case they are needed to help with an install or delivery.

We look back 3 years and deem a driver acceptable if they have the following:

• No more than 3 violations in those 3 years (this can range from speeding, running a stop light, seat belt infraction, etc.).

• No major violations in 3 years (Speeding 25+ over limit, DUI, Racing, Hit and Run, Failure to have registration/insurance on a vehicle, involved in accidents, etc.)

• • The accidents can be up for debate depending on if it was not at fault accident.
