Job Description


We are currently seeking a Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, possess mechanical knowledge with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Mechanic (Industrial, Diesel, Auto).

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading equipment, machine assembly, installation of equipment, troubleshooting and repair of equipment

  • Perform tasks, including general machine maintenance, facility maintenance

  • Operate equipment such as, forklifts and overhead cranes

  • Operate in a fast paced, ever changing work environment

  • Must be able to lift over 50lbs

  • High school diploma or equivalent required – any technical training or other training beyond high school is a plus

  • Pre-employment background check & drug screening required

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; verbal and written

  • Problem analysis and assessment including machine repair; i.e.: hydraulics, pumps, motors

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and servicing equipment as needed

  • Attention to detail and job task prioritizing and planning

 

Hours: Monday thru Friday 6am – 2:30pm
