Job Description

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

 

The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, inventory transactions, and order fulfillment. This role ensures customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately while maintaining inventory accuracy within NetSuite and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Generate shipping labels and shipping documentation.
• Process Item Fulfillments and inventory transactions.
• Process and manage ASN’s (Advanced Shipping Notices) for customer shipments as required.
• Ensure ASN information is accurate and submitted on time.
• Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
• Identify and communicate shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Operations as needed.
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
• Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Provide tracking information and shipment updates as needed

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SAFETY COMPLIANCE

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and warehouse environment.

  • Assist with proper packaging and safe movement of products throughout the facility.

  • Handle and process shipments containing cases of butane canisters in accordance with company procedures and warehouse safety guidelines

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, fulfillment, or ASN processing experience preferred.

  • Experience using ERP and Shipping Manifest systems; NetSuite experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Ability to lift and move materials safely.

1st shift work week, Mon - Fri from 7 am to 3:30 pm

Pay range from $20-22/hr
