Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for properly receiving incoming inventory, timely staging and timely shipping outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures and providing accurate, timely shipments.
Essential Functions
Receive all parts that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received
Pack and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner
Maintain shipping logs
Stock all parts in the parts warehouse after they have been checked in
Operate fork lift truck when necessary
Cross-check inventory accuracy with system entries
Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
Required Education and Experience
Forklift operation
One year parts/warehouse related experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have good organizational skills
Basic computer skills
