Quality Technician
Summary:
Ensure product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance by monitoring and auditing incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials and perform required tests.
Evaluate in-process and finished product against specifications.
Lead Foreign Material investigations.
Manage hold orders for non-conforming product.
Conduct equipment sanitation inspections.
Monitor metal detector and other safety devices.
Coordinate sensory evaluations.
Manage quality data and records.
Conduct testing for trials and projects.
Train line inspectors.
Participate in shift pass-down communication.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Complete assigned quality system tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
1-3 years' experience in food manufacturing or quality/analytical lab.
Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and materials.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
Ability to use common measurement tools.
Ability to work in environments with allergens and varying temperatures.
Pay rate: $25 per hour
Shift: 1st and 3rd
