Job Description

Our client is looking for Production Operators to join our team. If you work well with a team, have sharp attention to detail and quality, want to learn, and to be part of a team comprised of some pretty fantastic individuals- this may be the job for you! Our benefits are second to none (no joke) and you're eligible the first of the month following 60 days employment once perm hired! We have several 2nd & 3rd shift openings plant wide. Major Function: Manufacture and package chemical products according to instructions and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Major Duties: 1. Control and monitoring of production equipment and systems. 2. Set up, operate, and monitor equipment used for producing and packaging products. 3. Measure, weigh, mix, and process chemical ingredients following established procedures to create finished products. 4. Monitor batches for quality and safety parameters, including Critical Control Points and Control Points. 5. Record production, sanitation and test data accurately and legibly. 6. Draw samples of products for quality tests. 7. Fill containers with chemical products for sale or internal use. 8. Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas according to company procedures. Physical Requirements: · Must be able to lift 60 pounds repetitively. · Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for prolonged periods of time. · Must be able to climb stairs and ladders repetitively. · Must be able to wear required Personal Protection Equipment for extended periods of time. · Must be able to safely and effectively operate production-related machinery including, but not limited to: forklifts, agitators, homogenizers, and drum tippers. · Must be able to perform visual and olfactory observations. Additional Requirements: · Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. · Must pass background check, respiratory evaluation, and pre-employment drug test. · Must be able to work well with others both within production team and company-wide. Education and Experience: · Proficient in reading and mathematics at the high school graduate level. · Forklift certification is preferred. · A minimum of two years of chemical or food processing is preferred. · GMP and HACCP training is a plus.
