Part-Time Product Repair Technician - ****perfect for an experienced retiree who wants a somewhat flexible part-time job. We will train the candidate on our Repair Process.
Performs a wide variety of duties to troubleshoot and repair electrical and/or mechanical products returned to the company for repair.
Test products to determine nature of problem and replace parts, components and modules, etc. or perform adjustments as necessary.
Requires a basic understanding of electrical or mechanical functions.
A candidate should have experience repairing electrical / mechanical products (Our products are primarily heat guns & related heat tools).
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming repairs and log properly
Review product and paperwork to determine if repair is in or out of warranty
Make necessary repairs and inform supervisor of defective parts or design
This position reports directly to our Production Supervisor.
