The B2B Technical Sales Associate is a highly motivated sales representative that sells, leases, and rents our customized products and services throughout various territories. Our Technical Sales Associates are responsible for developing leads, marketing, and maintaining existing sales in a given territory. Some of the career duties include:
Develop and implement a marketing strategy in territory
Pro-actively cultivate and manage new and existing customer relationships
Prospect via cold calling, face to face meetings, and emailing for new customer development
Analyze customer & prospects needs through multiple avenues including water testing, evaluating existing equipment, etc.
Follow sales leads and schedule appointments with customers
Manage accounts and design appropriate solutions based on customer needs
Manage the preparation of customer-focused technical and commercial quotations/proposals
Follow up with customers and prospects regularly
Business development of territory
Quote writing & delivery
Attend conferences and exhibitions when required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Honest and high integrity
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and public speaking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Ability to deliver PowerPoint and/or other sales presentations
Quote writing & delivery
Presentation of products & services to current and prospective customers
Build solid, long-lasting relationships with engineers, maintenance professionals & managers in territory
In addition to generating your own leads, you will be provided with company leads and marketing support to help build your territory.
You will receive training to prepare you for a successful career in sales with potential career advancement opportunities.
High level of attention to detail-careful and accurate
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Personal drive and motivation- a self-starter
Work well under pressure
Ability to travel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meeting sales goals.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
GED or High School Diploma
At least 2 Years Of Sales B2B Experience
2 Years Outside Sales Experience
Must have a valid driver s license with a clean driving record
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
Salary + Commission
Sales attire, cell phone, laptop, and safety equipment are all provided.
