RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY: 1. Run production, monitor and maintain rate and quality throughout the run 2. Run related secondary equipment, where applicable 3. Understand and use job travelers, blueprints, engineering specifications and SOP’s as required 4. Understand and operate all equipment controls and operator interfaces 5. Maintain accurate written records and keep appropriate documentation 6. Communicate well with supervisor, setup technicians, quality assurance and material handlers 7. Perform material mixing as required 8. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment 9. Perform other related duties as assigned RELATIONSHIP: Has daily contact with Supervisor to discuss scheduled, workloads, performance and production issues. Has daily contact with Quality Assurance to monitor product quality and understand requirements Has daily contact with Setup Technicians for questions or troubleshooting and with material handlers for replenishment of materials QUALIFICATIONS: • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Involves frequent standing, reaching and pulling throughout the shift. • Previous machine operating experience preferred or a mechanical aptitude and the ability to grasp machine operating and controls • Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude • Efficient work habits and detail-oriented organizational skills
