Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all production equipment and operators.

Schedule production machines based on priorities
Setup of Cold Heading equipment
Troubleshoot production issues
Supervise the operation of production equipment
Supervise production staff
Communicate with team on results and progress

Education/Experience, and Skills:

High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years’ experience in Cold Heading manufacturing
1 year minimum supervisory experience
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours /day.
Language Ability:
Â
Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively with peers and management.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not necessary
Â
Mathematical Ability:
Â
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Computer Skills:
Â
Microsoft office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook)
Basic ERP
Data Entry

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Â
Manage a team of associates (Cold Heading operators, Thread Rolling operators, etc.) both permanent as well as temporary employees.
Create and manage shift schedules
Responsible for hiring, terminating, and managing team performance
Hosting team meetings and training sessions
