Electrician
Summary of Position:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within manufacturing facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to ensuring electrical systems are safe, efficient, and reliable, while strictly adhering to all applicable electrical codes and safety regulations. A significant amount of travel will be required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, controls, and lighting systems in various manufacturing environments.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Perform thorough testing of electrical systems and components to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts.
Identify and implement improvements to electrical systems for enhanced efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns and take appropriate action to restore operations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.
Travel:
60-75% travel required to various manufacturing facilities. Candidates must be willing and able to travel extensively.
Compensation & Schedule:
Pay rate: $26-30/hour
Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
