Working Maintenance Manager

Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain building site and facility in accordance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations and safety codes. Perform electrical maintenance on all equipment as needed Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed Commit to continuous improvement in the delivery of facility and maintenance functions. Maintain a Total Preventive/Predictive Maintenance Program Achieve and maintain a 5S Program Maintenance of spare parts inventory in a fiscal manner Direct maintenance staff to assure production equipment is maintained at optimum levels. Minimize unplanned equipment downtime. Hold the department accountable for delivering to targeted goals, and stretch each to their full potential regularly. Participate in the coordinating and completion of special projects including: equipment installation, machine and building modifications, and safety improvements Install and maintain electrical systems of the plant and equipment Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs and adjustments to keep equipment in production Assemble, align units and equipment Make sketches of replacement parts as needed Maintain a safe and clean working environment Must be willing to be available on call for emergencies and consultations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees the maintenance and facilities housekeeping functions. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include staff selection, establishing expectations/goals, employee development, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, and resolving employee concerns.
