Job Title: CMM Programmer
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Programmer responsible for developing and executing precise measurement programs using PCDMIS software. This role is crucial for ensuring that manufactured parts consistently meet stringent internal and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Metrology, Engineering blueprints, GD&T, and have proven expertise with PCDMIS software for CMM operations.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a CMM Programmer using PCDMIS software for complex parts.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CMM programming using PCDMIS software.
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
Familiarity with CAD software and the ability to accurately read technical drawings.
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) methodologies and experience using statistical tools like QC-Calc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in metrology or quality control (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma).
Experience with different types of measuring equipment (e.g., laser scanners, optical comparators).
Knowledge of Casting and Machining processes.
Pay Rate: $30 - $36 per hour (Pay is based on experience)
