I’m Sonia, a recruiter with Halpin Staffing Services, and I’ll be celebrating two years with the team this October. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2015 and have a professional background in the social services field, which has given me valuable skills that translate seamlessly into the world of recruiting.
My approach is rooted in respect, empathy, and resourcefulness. As an immigrant to the U.S., I grew up interpreting for others and learning the importance of helping people in need. Outside of work, I’ve been happily married for eight years and am a proud mom of two little ones. In my free time, I enjoy being in nature, going on trips, volunteering in local communities, and trying new things — especially through my work with organizations like Habitat for Humanity.
