Machine Shop Programmer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Shop Programmer to join our team. You will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in machine programming and troubleshooting will be essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize CNC machine programs based on design specifications.

  • Select appropriate cutting tools and materials for machining operations.

  • Analyze blueprints and models to determine efficient production methods.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machine issues.

  • Set up machines for production runs.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in CNC machine programming and operation.

  • Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).

  • Knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Pay rate: $26-30/hour

  • Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
