Position description:
This position is responsible to the Plant Manager and V.P. of Production for direction in operating automatic computerized electroplating hoist.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Hoist Operator is responsible to run the automatic, computerized electroplating hoist independently and efficiently.
He is responsible for filling out and reporting all data related to the Plating Process daily on Hoist Operator Work Sheet. He must ensure proper plating cycle per customer requirement as listed on FRM: 95/84 Hoist Line Operator Bible.
Ensure proper racking and contact so there are no loose parts on the rack to ensure good plating. Must ensure proper rack space to avoid crashes during plating. (Refer to FRM: 614 for complete training checklist).
Must keep an accurate count of the bars plated on the Work Bar Production Count Sheet. (Refer to Work Instruction ISS:1).
Hoist Operator is responsible to clean racks per schedule and recording them on the log. (refer to FRM: Rack Cleaning Log)
Keep the area organized and clean at all times.
Watch for signs and notices to ensure best quality plated parts.
Must be self motivated to alert supervisors to all quality, profitability, or health concerns on the shop floor.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma. Pass Hazardous Chemical Handler Certification.
