Job Description

Machine Setup Associate

We're looking for a mechanically inclined Machine Setup Associate to join our team on 1st shift, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role is similar to an auto mechanic but for our production presses. You'll be responsible for setting up machines for production runs, ensuring everything is in place for a smooth and efficient process.

Key Functions

  • Install dies and fixtures onto presses.

  • Adhere guides and templates to the press platen.

  • Adjust heat, pressure, and velocity of the press to meet specifications.

  • Perform minor press repairs and machine maintenance.

  • Move materials as needed.

  • Make real-time adjustments to presses during production runs.

  • Record data and complete required paperwork.

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of how machines work.

  • Proficiency in making basic measurements using rulers or calipers.

  • Experience with basic hand tools.

 

Position Details

  • Pay Rate: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on your skill level.

  • Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
