SUMMARY:
Performs monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual inspections of machines and robots. Identifies and troubleshoots machinery issues as they arise on a daily basis. Gives support for any task when requested by Management to better service our customers.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Â
Performs routine inspections on all injection molding machines and add lubricant as needed.
Performs repairs on injection molding machines and robots under the direction of the Supervisor
Inspects machinery to ensure safe working conditions and helps correct any safety issues found or reported
Troubleshoots all axillary equipment used in the manufacturing process. ie. Labelers, temperature controllers, valve gate controllers, conveyers, safety cages, vacuum loaders, ABS dryers, etc.
Mentors and trains Process Engineer Employees and Line Leads when necessary to do so
Maintains a clean work area.

Required Education and Experience:
Previous injection molding experience desired but not required. Employee must know the basic principles of electric circuitry and hydraulic movement.

to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, and to follow simple oral instructions
Effectively document all preventative maintenance activities.
Employee must be able to create written reports on repairs completed and on outstanding repairs necessary.

Heavy work: Activities will involve frequent standing and walking, and communicating verbally and in writing. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Correct visual acuity to 20/20. Physical ability to move body quickly in order to avoid moving mechanical parts and/or heavy machinery.

Pay rate: $21–$24/hour
