General Laborer – Sheet Metal Fabrication
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to support fabrication and production tasks.
Accurately use a tape measure and basic measuring tools to ensure material is cut to specification.
Operate shop equipment such as shears and saws to cut expanded metal and sheet metal materials.
Assist with general fabrication tasks in a fast-paced sheet metal job shop environment.
Maintain quality standards while meeting production timelines and customer specifications.
Support material handling, part preparation, and basic finishing tasks as needed.
Cross-train in multiple departments to assist the team during peak production periods.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
Experience operating basic fabrication equipment such as shears or saws is a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced job shop environment with changing priorities.
Willingness to learn new skills and assist across departments as needed.
