Basic requirements are: Show up for work on time each day (we have various shift schedules). Listen and follow directions. The general job requirements are to assist Platers in performing all assigned operations to process parts and products through electroplating and mechanical finishing operations.

Details

• Follow company work instructions and work order directions.

• Use basic testing and measuring instruments as directed to assure a quality product within tolerances.

• Load and unload baskets and racks. Dip to clean and wash parts and operate tumbler for cleaning and drying operations.

• Assist with cleaning of tanks, mixing solutions and set up of plating racks.

• Assist in completing the necessary paperwork, as instructed.

• Responsible for housekeeping around work area.

• Perform other tasks in support of the plating operation(s), including blasting, polishing, racking, oiling, masking, etc.

• Perform other functions in support of the plating operation such as cleaning of tanks, repairing racks, minor maintenance of equipment, or other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not required and ability to handle precision measuring equipment.

• Previous manufacturing experience required

• Strong work history and interest in joining a team long term

Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 pounds in sometimes difficult work positions.

• Requires a lot of stooping and bending and good hand/eye coordination.

Work Environment: Exposure to chrome and nickel plating solutions, as well as, mechanical finishing operations.
