Foundry Laborer

Summary:
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our foundry team as Laborers. In this role, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing process, contributing to the production of high-quality castings.
Responsibilities:
Perform general labor duties across various departments within the foundry.
Melt product to the desired temperature according to established procedures.
Pour molds accurately and efficiently, ensuring no defects in the casting process.
Operate various types of casting machines safely and effectively.
Work in the wax department to set up molds for the casting process.
Conduct thorough inspections of parts and molds throughout the production process.
Perform other labor duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50-60 pounds and able to stand for long periods of time.
Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
Skills:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred.
Other: Position requires the use of hand tools. Must be able to wear a respirator.
Compensation & Schedule:
Pay rate: $22 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
