Job Title: Custodian I
Summary: We are seeking a reliable Custodian I to ensure our buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role involves both cleaning and light maintenance, contributing to a positive learning and working environment. The schedule is dynamic: first or second shifts from September through May, first shift from June through August, and during all breaks.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic cleaning principles, methods, and supplies.
Familiarity with general maintenance tasks (e.g., light bulb changes, filter replacement, basic troubleshooting).
Adherence to safe work methods.
Valid driver’s license with insurance.
Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and custodial skills.
Proficient with hand tools, buffers, scrubbers, and basic power equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with computers and email.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
