General Description / Language to Use for Job Postings:

The position of Laborer / Line Worker carries a variety of responsibilities which can include but are not limited to degreasing, hanging, drying, pressure washing, sanding, quality inspection, and packaging of a variety of metal substrates.

Within the title of Laborer / Line Worker, various departments may have specific full-time positions, for example, the CNH Line Pressure Washer or Wet Paint Lead Prepper.

Reports to: Line Supervisor or Plant 2 Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Line Worker

· • Line Workers’ responsibilities may vary depending on the position being conducted but may include the following:

· Hanging raw parts

· Sanding parts before hanging for washing

· Draining oil from parts

· Drying parts with an air hose

· Hand wiping parts

· Removing parts from hot line

· Quality inspection

· Packaging

Wet Paint Lead Prepper

· • The Wet Paint Lead Prepper is responsible for supporting the Wet Lead Painter. This position carries a variety of responsibilities which can include but can be updated as processes change;

· Washing

· Masking

· Plugging

· Organizing materials

· Packaging

· Aiding the Wet Lead Painter with any small task they deem necessary

Pressure Washer

· The Pressure Washer position is responsible for ensuring that all parts are properly washed using the iron phosphate solvent.

· They must be able to safely drive a fork truck using it to move the parts needed to wash in and out of the wash bay.

· Other duties include plating, tagging and drying of the parts

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

· High School diploma

· Open
