Job Description

CNC Lathe Operator

Description:

  • Operate multiple CNC lathes

  • Tooling/insert changes and programming tool offsets as needed

  • Use simple math to preform basic calculations.

  • Use various measurement equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, bore gages, etc.

  • Work independently, but also work productively in a team environment.

  • Ensure all tools, measuring devices, etc. used to verify customer parts compliance are calibrated and fit for service.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Preferred: Two year certificate in machine trades.

  • Strong CNC Lathe both in experience and physical as these are large lathes

  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints

  • Ability to operate overhead crane/jib crane

  • Ability to understand measuring equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, bore gages, etc.

 

6:00 am. - 3:30 pm Mon-Thurs and 6:00-10:00 am Fri
