Polisher / Chrome Finisher
We are seeking a skilled Polisher to join our team on 1st shift. This position is critical to achieving the high-quality, defect-free, high-gloss finish our clients expect on chrome and other metal parts.
Key Responsibilities
Polishing & Finishing: Use abrasive tools, polishing compounds, and specialized equipment to smooth, buff, and shine various metal surfaces.
Surface Preparation: Prepare metal parts for the plating process, ensuring the surface is clean and ready to accept the finish.
Quality Inspection: Inspect all plated parts for defects, ensuring the final product meets specific quality standards and is defect-free.
Equipment Maintenance: Operate and perform routine maintenance on polishing and buffing equipment.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in polishing, buffing, or metal finishing is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to achieve a high-gloss, defect-free finish.
Familiarity with various abrasive tools and polishing compounds.
Ability to follow quality standards and safety protocols.
Physical ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift.
Position Details
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
