Electrical Assembler (1st shift)

 

reputable client in Kenosha has a great opportunity available for a full time Assembler (Electrical/ Electronics) working 1st shift hours: Monday through Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm (3:30pm with overtime) and Saturdays based on production needs. This is a contract to hire position through a staffing agency upon successfully completing 90 days.

 

As an Assembler (Electrical / Electronics) you will be responsible for the assembly of solid state lighting fixtures utilizing standardized methods to ensure quality and production requirements are met. Additional responsibilities include:

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical wiring and product assembly of solid state lighting fixtures

• Perform testing of sub-assemblies and final units

• Work from a live schedule, verbal and written instruction, bills of material, routing, samples, blueprints and schematics to perform assembly and electrical wiring

• Perform quality inspections of parts and assemblies

• Stage completed product on skids

• Follow safety requirements and maintain good housekeeping

 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating pneumatic and other manual hand tools

• Previous experience and ability to read verbal and written instructions, bills of material, blueprints, work instructions and wiring diagrams in English

• Must be comfortable with and have the ability to stand 10 + hours per shift

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

• Must be a quick learner; able to learn and understand new tasks quickly in a fast paced environment

• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record

• Flexible to perform overtime duties and adjust schedule when required

• Able to work within a team environment and assist in areas where needed

• Must be able to work overtime, as required
