SCHEDULING ASSISTANT

POSITION SUMMARY

This position works under the guidance of the Manager of Master Scheduling, forecasting production, managing external inventories, maintain raw ingredient documentation files and purchasing functions. This position operates within FDA, FSMA and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements defining food safety standards for the safe production of food in the plant and offices i.e. within the standards of defined risk levels by area.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

1. Arrange for paste trucks to ship to outside warehouse for storage, including entering and receiving warehouse transfers in the system.

2. Enter receipts to outside warehouse for storage of pastes.

3. Reconcile inventory for co-packers ingredients and packaging as well as outside warehouses for spray dry bases.

4. Maintain packaging inventory for co-packer production at their locations.

5. Request any necessary ingredient documentation from Supply Chain Manager for Co-Packers.

6. Process warehouse transfers and production orders for all Co-Packers.

7. Maintain files for production reports and co-packers POs.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School diploma, or equivalent.

Experience: Administrative, Supply Chain preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
