Accountant- part-time (20 hours per week)

Working with Google sheets and excel
Forwarding information on CFO
PAY IS NEGOTIABLE
Learn and understand the requirements of the CARES Act, CRRSAA, and American Rescue Plan Act grants and learn what acceptable expenditures are.
Learn and understand Gateway's internal purchasing policy and guidelines to ensure all purchases follow those guidelines.
Evaluate all presented COVID-19 expenditures to determine if they qualify to be charged to the grant.
Effectively communicate to staff about issues with the charges submitted.
Gather all required documentation for all charges reimbursed from the grants.
Ensure all grant charges are recorded properly on the general ledger which would include preparing journal entries.
Prepare all required federal and website reporting by given deadlines.
