Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects and supporting the bidding process.
Responsibilities:
Perform quantity takeoffs for various construction divisions.
Analyze site information, geographical considerations, and labor parameters.
Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
Prepare and submit detailed proposals to clients.
Review bid plans, specifications, and ITBs.
Coordinate with project coordinators and subcontractors.
Investigate potential problems and additional costs.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in drafting or construction-related field preferred.
Previous construction experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Drafting or AutoCAD experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
