Our company is currently seeking a full time waterjet operator to operate its high pressure waterjet cutting equipment
Responsibilities: ? Run jobs on waterjet equipment ensuring all parts meet tight manufacturing requirements. ? Prepare CAM files from various sources to include CAD files, prints, and verbal instruction. ? Plan and Set up jobs for CNC waterjet equipment. This includes loading and unloading waterjet table. ? Be flexible and willing to tackle new challenges and have a positive can-do" attitude. ? Perform cleaning and general maintenance on waterjet and general shop equipment. ? THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE PROVEN LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE.
Position Requirements: ? 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience with the operation of CNC based machines, waterjet experience a plus but it is not required. ? High School Diploma or Equivalent ? College or Technical training in the manufacturing field to include CAD/CAM courses is a plus. ? Understanding or ability to read blue prints. ? Ability to safely lift, load, and unload material from manufacturing equipment through use of overhead cranes (5-10 ton capacity). ? Have general understanding of basic machine shop equipment and its safe operation. ? Ability to communicate proficiently, both written and oral, in the English language.
